Shizuka: A girl constantly torn from society in a shroud of loneliness and isolation. However, will a pearl lay inside this tough outer shell?
Rin: A sharp toned girl full of fierce comebacks. Can anyone cool the fire within her heart?
Akira: A lad full of solutions and exquisite motivation etiquette. Can anyone return the favour to him though?
Rei: A spirited boy full of energy and positivity. Can he keep his head high for himself?
Location and settings
Since our newest film is primarily an anime styled horror film, of course the scenic locations the movie will be set around are fictional places to mark the heritage of the Japanese culture. Carefully picked, these locations may each represent a place of significance to the people of japan.
The first setting that the film will feature is the city of tokyo, a golden city at the heart of japan. Known for its bustling culture and busy high streets.
The second main setting is none other than Mt fuji. This popular scenic location is one of the highest mountains within the asian lands, It sits straight in the eye-line of japans capital city Tokyo. As a result of this, it is a popular tourist destination and main influence for many famous artworks.
Design and style
For 'valley of forgotten souls', we have chosen a very specific and unique style to present it to you in. We took the beautiful magical style of 'sailor moon' and combined in with hints of 'a perfect blue' to create a slightly darker message.
It captures the nostalgic feeling of 90s anime but with a slight twist to your average story, the genre of course being horror/thriller. We believed by combining these two aspects of film together we could create a unique storyline tailored to specific audiences such as yourselves!
